Gentleman’s Cider

Just because the temps drop doesn’t mean you can’t cool off and warm up all at once. When the 108th Infantry Regiment was tracking General Robert E. Lee to the line of the Rappahannock in the fall of 1863, they didn’t have any of their beloved upstate New York apple crop to keep them nourished. But what they were able to scrape together with spice and circumstance, they returned home with something born of pure Yankee sensibility mixed with a good tinge
of Southern charm.


  • 2 parts Gentlemen Jack
  • Rare Tennessee Whiskey
  • 1 part light brown sugar simple syrup
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 dash of ground nutmeg
  • 2-3 dashes of Fee
  • Brothers Old Fashioned Aromatic Bitters


Shake with ice: whiskey, simple syrup, egg white, nutmeg, and bitters. Pour into a sturdy rocks glass pre-garnished with a Honey Crisp apple slice and cinnamon stick.
